Whether a child's desire to read comes instinctively or they need a little push, quality books are an important element of their growth and development. Although technology has its place, nothing can replace the feeling of holding and flipping through a good book.

Sally the Cat Publishing was created in 2007 with the original four "Sally the Cat" nursery books. With the support of family, friends, and the community, the books were nearly sold out, allowing Sally Publishing to release "My First Chapter Book" in 2008, as well as publishing author Mary Dave' with her book "Underwater Rainbow." Mary's next book, "Mother Moon and Her Rainbow of Stars," is set to be released May 2012.

In 2009, author Desmond Nwaogu joined Sally Publishing and released two novels, "Ezechimere - King Made by God," and "How Dog and Cat Became Enemies." He is currently working on the next volume of "Ezechimere," set to be released May 2012.

A very special character named Leon joined our family of books with a story about confidence titled, "Happy Halloween Birthday Boy," in October of 2011.   

"Javakhk: A World that Cares," is the newest member of the Sally family of books.  In a special collaboration with the Armenian Relief Society, Javakhk Fund Committee, this book was written to raise awareness of the current conditions of the Armenians in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region in the Republic of Georgia.  The sale of this book is a pure fund-raising effort; all proceeds will directly be used to support this humanitarian cause.
